ABCA1-mediated cholesterol transfer in gastric cancer immunity
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study investigates how ABCA1-mediated cholesterol transfer from gastric cancer cells affects the antitumor function of human Vgamma9Vdelta2 T cells. It examines the relationship between cholesterol accumulation, NF-kappaB signaling, and T-cell effector function, and evaluates whether targeting this metabolic interaction can restore antitumor activity. The study aims to clarify a mechanism of immune evasion in gastric cancer and provide a basis for developing strategies to improve Vgamma9Vdelta2 T-cell-based immunotherapy.
