Histamine-Induced MultiSystemic Toxicity in Eriocheir sinensis: Reveals Its Ecological Risks to Aquatic Ecosystems

ABSTRACT: This study investigated the toxicological effects of histamine on the hepatopancreas of the Chinese mitten crab (Eriocheir sinensis) to reveal its ecological risks. Untargeted metabolomics profiling of hepatopancreatic tissues was performed using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UHPLC-Q-TOF MS). The aim was to identify metabolic perturbations and elucidate the underlying mechanisms of histamine-induced multi-systemic toxicity in aquatic organisms. hide
