Whole genome sequencing

ABSTRACT: Non-neoplastic gastric genome DNA from 185 patients diagnosed with gastric cancer at Ruijin hospital (n=139) and Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center (n=46) (patients provided their informed consent for use of sample for research) were collected and frozen at -80°C until use. Whole-genome sequencing was performed. Libraries were constructed with ~400-bp insert length, and paired-end 150-bp reads were sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq X10 sequencer. The average sequencing coverage for each individual was 30-fold.
