Project description:The aim of this study was to assess whether chronic treatment with RPV can modulate the progression of chronic liver disease, especially of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), through a nutritional model in wild-type mice Mice were daily treated with RPV (p.o.) and fed with normal or high fat diet during 3 months to induce fatty liver disease

Project description:The mechanism of autophagy can be triggered by phosphoramidon to ameliorate kidney fibrosis and inflammation. The precise targets of fibrosis and inflammation in chronic kidney disease (CKD) need further investigation. The purpose of this project is to development of potential therapeutic drugs for CKD treatment. The therapeutic targets might be identified from cellular signaling induced by phosphoramidon in the human kidney proximal tubular epithelial cell line (HK-2 cells).
