Project description:Approximately 200 cells of Candida albicans lab strain SC5314 were spread on YPD plates supplemented with 2 fold increase from 50 ng/ml to 12800ng/ml caspofungin. All adaptors appeared were collected. Randomly 36 tolerant adaptors were sequenced.

Project description:Candida albicans lab strain BG2 was grown in YPD broth supplemented with 0.5ug/ml tunicamycin at 37C for 24h. We used three techinical repeats. The culture was washed, and diluted with distilled water. Then approximately 200 cells from each of the three cultures were spread on YPD plates. Randomly 99 colonies from each culture were tetsted for tolerance to tunicamycin, as compared to the parent BG2. In total we got 6 tolerant adaptors. These 6 adaptors as well as the parent were sequenced.
