Project description:P300 and P720 C57BL6/J male mice were exposed to ethanol vapor (95% w/v) for 3 hours each day for a total of 5 days. Blood alcohol levels in the ethanol treated animals was 3.0mg/ml. Controls at P300 and P720 were included. Keywords: SAGE-dose response
Project description:We report transcript abundance in skin, spinal_cord, and trigeminal ganglia from animals treated with MC903 to induce a mouse model of atopic dermatitis across different genotypes, time points, and treatments
Project description:Immunohistochemistry studies indicated that etanercept treatment reduced inflammation, epithlial proliferation, and epithelial NFkB activity in NOD prostate tissues compared to control treated mice. A bulk RNA-seq study was conducted on whole mouse prostate tissues from NOD mice treated with PBS control or etanercept for 5 weeks to identify putative pathways involved in these processes. These analyses determined differentially expressed genes and numerous enriched pathways yielding a greater understanding of pathways involved in prostate regression and inhibition of inflammation.
Project description:Hippocampal tissues from 3xTg-AD mice treated with a CK1δ/ε inhibitor or vehicle, and non-transgenic mice treated with vehicle, were harvested and processed for proteomic analysis using label-free quantification.
Project description:Purpose: To investigate the effect that acute ethanol tretament (5 g/kg) has on the brain transcriptome and relate that to ethanol-related behaviors. Methods: Male LXS recombinant inbred mice (40 strains; n=2 or 3 per strain) were treated with saline or ethanol (i.p.; 5 g/kg). Paired-end RNA-seq methods were employed to assess mRNA expression in whole brain 8 hours after the treatment. Results: The expression of thousands of transcripts was altered by the ethanol treatment. Thousands of expression QTLs (eQTLs) were mapped. A large percentage of the eQTLs were unique to the treatment.
