Project description:In this study, liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) was applied to define the occurrence, diversity and origin of glycosyl-hydrolases along the digestive tract of P. canaliculata. Cellulases, hemicellulases, amylases, maltases, fucosidases and galactosidases were identified across the digestive tract. The digestive gland and the contents of the crop and style sac yield a higher diversity of glycosidase-derived peptides.
Project description:In vertebrates the endoderm which gives rise to the epithelial lining of the digestive tract becomes regionalized along its antero-posterior axis after gastrulation. The molecular basis of the initial step of this regionalization has largely remained unclear. Using chick model, we generated high-quality transcriptomic datasets of different stages/regions of the endoderm and analyzed their molecular heterogeneity.
Project description:The purpose of this study is to detect the concentration of various gases, including hydrogen, methane, hydrogen sulfide, nitric oxide in different parts of the digestive tract by a safe and direct method, and to establish a human digestive tract gas profiles. Analyze the differences in gas components in different segments of the digestive tract in patients with different diseases, and analyze the correlation between specific gases and digestive tract diseases and non-specific symptoms.
Project description:To study the effect of Radix Paeoniae Rubra decoction on tolerance of Staphylococcus aureus. The effect of Radix Paeoniae Rubra on the resistance of Staphylococcus aureus to oxacillin sodium was studied by millipore dilution method in this experiment. At the same time ,conducted on transcriptome analysis of Staphylococcus aureus related genes in Radix Paeoniae Rubra. And to detect the expression level of related genes of Staphylococcus aureus under the action of Radix Paeoniae Rubra by PCR technology. The tolerance of Staphylococcus aureus was decreased obviously when the concentration of Radix Paeoniae Rubra decoction was above 1mg/ml.The effect of Radix Paeoniae Rubra decoction on the expression of tolerance genes femB,pvL and gluM when the concentration of Radix Paeoniae Rubra decoction was above 4mg/ml.When rhe concentration of Radix Paeoniae Rubra is more than 1mg/ml,it can effectively reduce the resistance of Staphylococcus aureus to oxacillin sodium. The reason may be due to the effect of Radix Paeoniae Rubra on the resistance gene of Staphylococcus aureus.
Project description:We report here the transcriptome of sorted cells from a Guca2a promoter GFP mouse model, positve and negative cells for GFP from 4 different regions of the GI tract, duodenum (top 3cm), jejunum (intermediate small intestine), ileum (bottom 10 cm) and colon +rectum from 3 different mice. This data allows the characterization of the cells expressing Guca2a at the trancriptome level, revealling expression of different cell markers and showing diversity of Guca2a producing cells along the GI tract.

Total RNA from HH stage 4-5 entire definitive endoderm, HH stages 10-11 foregut endoderm and HH stages 8-10 mid/hindgut endoderm were purified. 5 M-NM-<g of RNA from each sample were used to screen Affymetrix Chicken Genome Array without an amplification step.
