Project description:Purpose: There are three goals of this study: 1. To compare the genomic, exome and chromatin accessiblity profiles of the specific engineered fallopian tube cells of high-grade serous tubo-ovarian cancer (HGSC) models (this study) using whole-exome, whole-genome and ATAC-seq sequencing. Methods: For whole-exome analysis, genomic DNA was extracted from the cell lines mentioned below. Conclusions: We conclude that whole-exome, whole-genome and ATAC-seq characterization would expedite genetic network analyses and permit the dissection of complex biological functions.

Project description:OVDM1, a new ovarian cell line derived from a serous ovarian metastatic adenocarcinoma sample, was established by immortalization with SV40 large-T antigen and hTERT and then characterized Expression microarrays were used for molecular profiling of early and late passages of OVDM1 cell line, as well as the original metastatic tumor.

Total RNA was extracted from early and late passages of OVDM1 and from the metastatic tumor for hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays
Project description:To identify the potential ovarian cancer stem cell gene expression profile from isolated side population of fresh ascites obtained from women with high-grade advanced stage papillary serous ovarian adenocarcinoma Microarrays were used to interrogate the differentially expressed genes between side population (SP) and main population (MP) isolated from fresh ascites obtained from women with high-grade advanced stage papillary serous ovarian adenocarcinoma, and the results were analyzed by paired T-test using BRB-ArrayTools
