Project description:Transcript profiles of H. annosum from different tissues and mycelium grown on different substrates and under different stresses were analyzed. The array probes were designed from gene models taken from the Joint Genome Institute (JGI, department of energy) H. irregulare genome sequence version 1. One aim of this study was to compare gene expression profiles of H. annosum during saprotrophic growth on topsoil from mineral soil, drained and undrained peatland.
Project description:modENCODE_submission_54 This submission comes from a modENCODE project of Susan Celniker. For full list of modENCODE projects, see http://www.genome.gov/26524648 Project Goal: We will generate over 600 RNA samples in biological triplicate and use them to generate expression profile maps detailing the sites of transcription across the fly genome using whole genome tiling arrays at 38 bp resolution as a broad survey of the transcriptome and 7 bp arrays resolution to identify at high resolution transcripts ends, splice sites, and small RNAs. For data usage terms and conditions, please refer to http://www.genome.gov/27528022 and http://www.genome.gov/Pages/Research/ENCODE/ENCODEDataReleasePolicyFinal2008.pdf Keywords: Transcript tiling array analysis

Project description:Moniliophthora perniciosa is the causal agent of cacao Witche´s broom disease. This disease has been causing extensive damages to Brazilian cacao plantation, especially in Southern Bahia. Using glass slides microarrays, we analyzed the expression profile of 3872 whole genome shotgun reads from M. perniciosa genome, comparing two stages of development (Biotrophic-like mycelia and saprotrophic mycelia). Keywords: Moniliophthora perniciosa, Witches Broom Disease, Pathogenesis, Cacao Pools from RNA of axenic cultures were amplified by RNA technique and labeled with Cyanine-3 CTP and Cyanine-5 CTP. Comparison was performed between biotrophic and necrotrophic mycelia, both grown in glycerol with cacao meristem extracts, using saprotrophic mycelia grown in glycerol as a control.
