Project description:To characterize the mechanism of porcine skeletal muscle development, transcriptome analysis of longissimus dorsi muscle between Shaziling and Yorkshire pig breeds
Project description:We performed transcriptome analysis of the longissimus dorsi muscle of four pig breeds (L, LDPL, DPL, DLDPL). This study provides a reference for exploring transcriptome regulation mechanisms affecting muscle growth and development in different pig breeds.
Project description:This study takes pig longissimus dorsi muscle as the object. Through spatial transcriptome research, we clarified the gene expression distribution of different types of muscle fibers in the tissue, and their corresponding marker genes were identified.
Project description:To characterize the mechanism of porcine skeletal muscle development, transcriptome analysis of longissimus dorsi muscle between Shaziling and Yorkshire pig breeds Three male Shaziling pigs and three male Yorkshire pigs from two full-sibs families at 25-days old were slaughtered
Project description:4D-Label-free quantitative proteomic analysis of the longissimus dorsi muscle tissue of the Wannanhua pig during the rapid fat deposition stage (120d and 240d)
Project description:We performed transcriptome analysis of the longissimus dorsi (LD) muscle during four development stages (60, 120, 240 and 400 days after birth) in Laiwu pigs, an indigenous fatty pig breed in North China. This study provides a reference for exploring transcriptome regulation mechanisms affecting muscle growth and development in obese pigs.
Project description:The objective of this study was to identify key genes associated with porcine muscle growth and adipose metabolism which different expression in porcine longissimus dorsi muscle tissue between Fat Type Pig(Taihu pig) and Lean Type Pig (Landrace), among developmental phases(Month 0,1,2,3,4,5). The gene expression analyses will increase understanding of impact factors of pork quality by identifying key genes and pathways controlling longissimus dorsi muscle development. Relative real-time RT-PCR was used to confirm differential expression of 5 different expression genes(PPARGC1A, RYR1, IGF2, IGF1R and IGFBP5) which normalized by 3 housekeep genes(ACTB, TBP and TOP2B). Keywords: time course and breed comparison
Project description:The objective of this study was to identify key genes associated with porcine muscle growth and adipose metabolism which different expression in porcine longissimus dorsi muscle tissue among Tibetan Pig, Taihu Pig and Landrace(Month 2), among developmental phases of Tibetan Pig (Month 2,4,6,8). Project description:Here, we performed the first whole-genome bisulfite sequencing (WGBS) of longissimus dorsi muscle (LDM) from Landrace (LR) and Wuzhishan (WZS) miniature pig during early embryonic stages (18, 21 and 28 dpc (days post coitum)).
