Within the pilot phase of the HUPO Brain Proteome Project, nine participating laboratories analysed human (epilepsy and/or post mortem material) and mouse brain samples (embryonic, juvenile and adult), respectively, using a variety of different state of the art techniques. Thirty-seven different analytical approaches were accomplished.
