In-depth plasma proteomics of patients with suspected lung cancer (lung adenocarcinoma and non-cancer controls) with Olink Explore 3072


ABSTRACT: Here, we present an in-depth proteomic profiling of pre-diagnostic plasma samples from 88 individuals with suspected lung cancer, including 44 patients diagnosed with stage III-IV lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) and 44 non-cancer controls. Proteomic analysis was performed using Olink Explore 3072, which comprises four distinct 384-plex panels targeting inflammation, oncology, cardiometabolic, and neurology proteins.

Plasma proteomics technologies are advancing rapidly, offering new opportunities for biomarker discovery and precision medicine. Direct comparisons of available technologies are needed to understand how platform selection affects downstream findings.
