Identification of differentially expressed proteins during the fermentation of Saccharopolyspora erythraea


ABSTRACT: At selected timepoints during the S erythrea fermentation process, samples of fermentation broth were collected. Proteins in the samples were separated by 2D-PAGE and differentially expressed proteins were identified by LC-MS/MS.

However, they have had limited success in explaining the dramatically increased productivity of commercially important natural products by industrial high-producing strains, such as the erythromycin-producing actinomycete Saccharopolyspora erythraea.
