Lichtenberg figures in high voltage electrical injury

ABSTRACT: Lichtenberg figures (LF), also known as a ferning pattern or keraunographic marking, is a pathognomonic skin sign for a lightning strike injury. The true pathophysiology of LF remains unknown. This dataset describes a case of LF following a high voltage electrical injury in which a skin biopsy was taken directly from the LF.
