ABSTRACT: Chemical cross-linking coupled to mass spectrometry was used to study the folding of the reovirus sigma3 protein by the chaperonin, TRiC/CCT. Cross-linking was performed using the homobifunctional, noncleavable reagent, disuccinimidyl suberate (DSS).
