We report a novel hybrid, molecular and elemental mass spectrometry (MS) setup for the absolute quantification of snake venom proteomes shown here for two desert black cobra species within the genus <i>Walterinnesia</i>, <i>Walterinnesia aegyptia</i> and <i>Walterinnesia morgani</i>.
