DIA Quantification Proteomics of rat tissues including bph and sham rats

ABSTRACT: In this project, Q-Exactive HF(Thermo Fisher Scientific,San Jose,CA) was used to acquire mass spectrometry (MS) data for 7 samples in Data Independent Acquisition (DIA) mode. Quantification of peptides and proteins was performed using Spectronaut™ and MSstats software packages

INSTRUMENT(S):

ORGANISM(S): Rattus Norvegicus (rat)

Background
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a common age-associated disorder characterized by non-malignant proliferation of prostate tissues. However, its underlying molecular mechanisms remain incompletely elucidated.
Methods
A rat model of BPH was established via surgical castration followed by testosterone propionate administration. Proteomic profiling was performed on prostate tissues from BPH and sham-operated rats. Public datasets of BPH patients and healthy individual ...[more]
