Murine and human bile proteome analysis

ABSTRACT: The gut microbiota is known to influence host metabolism, but its impact on lipid uptake from the nutrition and underlying mechanisms remain mysterious. Combining lipidomics and proteomics we discovered a microbiome-related phospholipase A1 (PLA1) activity in bile.
