Calcific hVIC niclosamide treatment
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Niclosamide has emerged as a promising drug for cardiac valve calcification treatment. Previous study suggested niclosamide's protective effects against vascular smooth muscle cell calcification. Yet, its impact on human VICs remained unexplored. In this study, we performed global and phospho-proteomics analysis on hVIC treated with pro-calcified media and niclosamide to understand the effect of niclosamide in calcification treatments.
