ABSTRACT: Per- and polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) – the so-called ‘forever chemicals’ – are a major cause of environmental and health concern due to their toxicity and long-term persistence. To help understand what is happening within bacterial cells during PFNA exposure Thermal Proteome Profiling (TPP) was performed in E. coli wild-type and a mutant.
