TMT proteomic analysis of HBV-infected vs non-infected HepG2-NTCP cell line


ABSTRACT: Deep-scale proteomic study on HBV-infected vs non-infected HepG2-NTCP cell line was conductedat day2 and day10 post-infection. Urea lysis buffer was used. This allows to identify the signaling pathways and proteins which result to be dysregulated during chronic HBV infection.

Chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is a global health problem as it is the major cause of liver fibrosis and its complications cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. The role of virus-host interactions in liver fibrosis and progression to cancer remains poorly understood.
