Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) promotes follicular development by inducing the proliferation and differentiation of granulosa cells (GCs). This process is primarily attributed to the activation of the canonical G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR)/adenylyl cyclase/cAMP/PKA/CREB signaling pathway.
