Impact of TDP-43 CR Deletion on the Synaptosome Proteome of the Mouse Brain


ABSTRACT: Synaptic loss is a prominent and early pathological feature of all neurodegenerative diseases, including ALS and other TDP-43-associated neurodegenerative disorders. To investigate neuron-specific pathways affected by TDP-43 CR deletion, we conducted a quantitative mass spectrometry analysis of synaptosomes isolated from the brains of wild-type and heterozygous TDP∆CR mice.
