Endothelial RAB5IF is required for pathological and developmental retinal angiogenesis

ABSTRACT: Mitochondria are critical for endothelial cell function and retinal angiogenesis. RAB5IF (RAB5 interacting factor) has recently been recognized as an important mitochondrial protein; However, its functional significance is still largely unknown.Proteomic sequencing were performed on human retinal microvascular endothelial cells(hRMECs) with shRAB5IF or shC.
