Proteome alterations in Filamin A deficient granulosa cell tumor-derived KGN cells.


ABSTRACT: The goal of the study was to evaluate consequences of Filamin A deficiency in granulosa cell tumor-derived KGN cells. Therefore, proteomes of WT and Filamin A deficient KGN cells were quantitatively compared using LC-MS/MS.

<h4>Background</h4>Filamin A (FLNA) is an actin-binding protein that regulates mechanosensitivity and functions as an intracellular signaling scaffold in various cell types. It has also been implicated in tumor growth.
