Breast muscle proteome of broilers fed with 15 % dietary incorporation of Limnospira platensis


ABSTRACT: The present study investigates the impact of dietary inclusion of 15% extruded L. platensis, with or without enzyme supplementation, on the broiler breast muscle proteome. Using a label-based comparative proteomics approach, this study aims to uncover key protein changes and associated biological processes, thereby shedding light on the molecular basis of Spirulina's effects on muscle metabolism, growth performance, and overall broiler health.

Limnospira platensis (Spirulina) is known for its nutritional and bioactive profile, but its high-level dietary inclusion effects in broilers, particularly post-extrusion and enzyme pre-treatment, remain underexplored.
