Proteomic profiling of PSMA-high and PSMA-low expressing regions from human prostate cancer tissues
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This proteomics dataset comprises samples for comparative proteomic analyses of PSMA-heterogeneous prostate cancer tissues. The study aimed to characterize the proteomic differences between PSMA-high and PSMA-low expressing tumor regions within individual patients to better understand the biological role of PSMA in prostate cancer. Patients undergoing radical prostatectomy were selected based on pre-operative [68Ga]Ga-PSMA PET/MRI imaging that demonstrated primary tumor heterogeneity with distinct PSMA-high and PSMA-low regions and matched lymph node metastasis.
