Comparative proteomics profiling of CHO and fast-growing CHL-YN cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Comprehensive identification of activated biological processes and pathways in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells and Chinese hamster lung (CHL)-YN cells by proteome profiling, with a focus on their functional characteristics as host cells for biopharmaceutical production. In CHL-YN cells, processes related to energy and biomass production were more prominently activated, whereas in CHO cells, processes associated with membrane transport were preferentially activated.
