Phyllorhiza punctata proteome - oral arms, gonads, mantle
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: In this study, we characterize the proteomic landscape of the invasive, edible, and bloom-forming jellyfish Phyllorhiza punctata by analyzing its oral arms, gonads, and mantle tissues. Utilizing high-throughput liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), we present a comprehensive profile of the protein composition across these tissues. Our findings provide novel insights into the functional and ecological roles of the P. punctata proteome, advancing the understanding of its biology and potential biotechnological applications.
