Coronary microembolization (CME) is a serious cardiovascular complication that causes severe cardiac dysfunction and arrhythmias. Glutathione (GSH) exhaustion-induced oxidative stress is a key contributor to CME. Here, we explore the molecular mechanisms underlying GSH imbalance during CME.
