Identification of Pdk1-dependent phosphosites on Pil1

ABSTRACT: With this project, we aimed for the identification of phosphosites on the eisosome component Pil1, dependent on the presence of the kinase Pdk1. With the results obtained, we have generated Pil1 phospho-deficient and phospho-mimic mutations, whose phenotypes are coherent with the absence and overexpression of Pdk1, respectively.
