Tuberculous meningitis alters the proteomic landscape of brain-derived extracellular vesicles toward glial activation and neuronal injury signatures
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: We used our young rabbit model of TB meningitis to isolate pure and intact EVs from brain tissue (i.e., brain-derived EVs). Comparative proteomic profiling was performed by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
INSTRUMENT(S):
ORGANISM(S): Oryctolagus Cuniculus (rabbit)
TISSUE(S): Brain
DISEASE(S): Central Nervous System Tuberculosis
