Vitamin D₃ metabolites as complementary alternatives to antibiotics in bovine mastitis
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: In this study, we performed a focused in vitro comparison of vitamin D₃, 25(OH)D₃, and 1,25(OH)₂D₃ to assess their differential effects on proteomic markers associated with the vitamin D pathway in bovine mammary cells. This targeted analysis aims to identify protein-level signatures that clarify the mechanisms through which each metabolite modulates host defense responses.
