ABSTRACT: Cell proteomes obtained from Alcanivorax sp. 24 and Alcanivorax borkumensis SK2 grown with pyruvate, weathered polyethylene (W-PE) and hexadecane were analysed to investigate de bacterial metabolism for W-PE assimilation.
