Molecular phenotyping of diverse human skeletal muscles


ABSTRACT: Different skeletal muscles have distinct gene expression profiles, yet, in humans, the skeletal muscle proteome has been explored only in a few muscle types. In this study, we employed quantitative mass spectrometry with isobaric tags to perform a global proteomic analysis of autopsy samples representing 75 skeletal muscles.
