Total proteome of parental and IGF2BP3 CRISPR/Cas9 knockout HCT116 cells under control conditions and endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress

ABSTRACT: IGF2BP3 is an RNA-binding protein that regulates mRNA stability, translation, and localization. Using RNA-seq and PAR-CLIP analyses, we found that IGF2BP3 binds and regulates levels of mRNAs encoding proteins involved in the unfolded protein response, yet the impact of IGF2BP3 depletion on the proteome was not characterized. To determine the effect of IGF2BP3 knockout on the cellular response to ER stress, we performed total proteome analysis of colorectal carcinoma cell line HCT116 with IGF2BP3 CRISPR/Cas9 knockout in control and ER stress conditions.
