Immunopeptidomics on pulmonary macrophages from mice post ascaris suum infection
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: During the pulmonary migratory phase, Ascaris larvae induce severe acute inflammation that can transition into long-term respiratory morbidity. To investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying this chronic pathology, we mapped the major histocompatibility complex class II (MHC-II) ligandome of pulmonary macrophages following the clearance of the parasite.
