The proteomic sequencing results of the colostrum and mature milk from 8 Holstein cows
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: we performed label-free quantitative proteomics to compare the milk proteomes of colostrum and mature milk in eight healthy primiparous Holstein cows (Bos taurus). Colostrum was collected within 2 h postpartum (group C) and mature milk approximately 15 days after parturition (group M). Proteins were extracted by acetone precipitation, digested with trypsin, and analyzed by nanoLC-MS/MS on a Bruker nanoElute 2 system coupled to a Bruker timsTOF Pro 2 mass spectrometer operated in data-independent acquisition mode (dia-PASEF).
