Proteomics of the effects of HDAC4 or HDAC5 knockdown in uveal melanoma cell lines with monosomy of chromosome 3 (M3) and BAP1 mutations, or disomy of chromosome 3 (D3) and wild-type BAP1
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Monosomy of chromosome 3 (M3) and BAP1 mutations are strongly associated with metastatic risk in uveal melanoma. Our study aimed to investigate the roles of HDAC4 and HDAC5 in uveal melanoma cell lines with different chromosome 3 and BAP1 statuses. We compared the proteome after shRNA knockdown of HDAC4 or HDAC5 in four uveal melanoma cell lines: two with M3 and BAP1 mutations and two with D3 and wild-type BAP1.
