DIA Proteomic Profiling of Mouse Lung Tissues Reveals the Antifibrotic Effects of Osmundacetone in Bleomycin-Induced Pulmonary Fibrosis
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study investigated the antifibrotic effects of osmundacetone (OSMA) in a bleomycin-induced mouse model of pulmonary fibrosis. Data-independent acquisition (DIA)-based quantitative proteomics was performed to characterize protein expression changes in mouse lung tissues from control, pulmonary fibrosis model, and OSMA-treated groups. Proteomic profiling revealed significant alterations in proteins associated with extracellular matrix organization, collagen metabolism, inflammatory responses, and metabolic regulation. OSMA treatment partially reversed fibrosis-associated proteomic changes, providing molecular evidence supporting its therapeutic potential against pulmonary fibrosis.
