Project description:In rice, simultaneous knockout of TAC4L (LOC_Os04g19140) and TAC4 (LOC_Os02g25230) resulted in a brittle culm and leaf phenotype, whereas single knockout of either TAC4L or TAC4 did not produce such a brittle phenotype. To elucidate the regulatory pathway underlying the brittle phenotype mediated by TAC4L and TAC4 in rice, we performed transcriptome sequencing using the penultimate culm at the heading stage.
