Project description:We sought to determine the transcriptomic impacts of artemisinin, Artemisia annua extract, and Artemisia afra extract on M. tuberculosis. Log phase cultures were treated with lethal doses for four hours or with inhibitory or sub-inhibitory doses for 24 hours. RNA was collected from untreated controls at the same timepoint.
Project description:The pollen proteomes of eight species of Artemisia were analyzed using label-free quantitative proteomics, with each sample being replicated five times. The eight species of Artemisia are as follows: Artemisia sieversiana Ehrh (ASE), Artemisia ordosica Krasch (AOK), Artemisia annua L (AAL), Artemisia frigida Willd (AFW), Artemisia dracunculus L (ADL), Artemisia scoparia Waldst (ASW), Artemisia lavandulifolia DC (ALD), and Artemisia mongolica (AM).
Project description:Here, we investigated the similarities and differences in the volatile profiles of plants and their holobionts. The VOC profiles of fruits, leaves, stems, and roots from seven plant species, including Turmeric seedlings (Curcuma longa), Artemisia capillaris, Euscaphis japonica, Panax ginseng, Clerodendrum trichotomum, Pyracantha koidzumii, and Japanese cypress (Chamaecyparis obtusa), as well as the VOCs of culturable microbial fractions characterized via GCMS-based metabolomics approaches
