Project description:The goal was to identify actively translated sequences in Dorsal spinal cord from Mice 2hours after Hind-Paw 20% formalin injection. Ipsi and Contralateral sides were compared to identify transcriptional changes after acute pain. Tissue was collected and ribosomes were pulled-down in the presence of CHX, RNA was purified and sequenced afterwards.

Time-course transcriptomic profiling of C57BL/6 mouse neurons from the dorsal root ganglion before and after a carrageenan injection into the left hind paw

Project description:Carrageenan injection induces tissue inflammation and high mechanosensitivity. Dorsal root ganglions contain the cellular body of the sensory neurons which project their axon to the periphery, monitoring this inflammation and transmitting the mechanical stimuli to the spinal cord. To explore whether the sensory neurons underwent transcriptional changes and how long these changes lasted, we injected carrageenan into the left hind paw of mice and sequenced the dorsal root ganglions related to this area 1, 3 and 30 days after the injection.

Transcriptomic analysis of adult mouse spinal cord tissue in the control of HDAC4 during inflammatory pain

Project description:The goal of this study was to evaluate the role of HDAC4 in spinal sensitization. We analyzed gene expression changes associated with the subcellular localization of HDAC4 in the spinal cord dorsal horn following CFA-induced inflammatory pain. The analysis was performed in basal conditions and after intraplantar injection of CFA to the hind paw of mice that received intraspinal injection of rAAV-constructs influencing the subcellular localization of HDAC4.
