MICROBIAL ANALYSIS ON SPIRULINA LIQUID BIOFERTILIZER AS BIOSTIMULANT ON CORIANDRUM SATIVUM
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study explores the use of Spirulina spp. as a biofertilizer for Coriandrum sativum, focusing on its biostimulant effects. Soil samples treated with Spirulina biofertilizer were analyzed through metagenomics, targeting the bacterial community. 16S rRNA gene sequencing identified key bacterial species, with Phaselicystis flava and Woodsholea maritima being most abundant. Notably, Woodsholea maritima was found to promote plant growth. Other species like Brevundimonas vesicularis and Acinetobacter rhizosphaerae were also present. Beta diversity analysis revealed shifts in microbial community structure, supporting Spirulina biofertilizers potential as a sustainable, eco-friendly tool to enhance crop performance and productivity.
