Project description:Parallel RNA- and Ribo-Seq of immortalised murine bone marrow derived macrophages following Salmonella infection. Cells were infected with WT or ΔprgJ Salmonella Typhimurium or mock infected at 60 min post infection.
Project description:Analysis of mRNA-seq reveals difference in gene expression profiles of wild type iBMDM, IRF3-/- iBMDM and IRF7-/- iBMDM infected with ME49, a type II Toxoplasma gondii
Project description:RNA from in vitro grown Salmonella typhimurium is compared with RNA extracted from Salmonella typhimurium from infected chick caecums using a common DNA reference. Keywords: Disease state analysis, infected versus uninfected, common reference
Project description:We identified miRNAs differentially regulated upon Salmonella infection by comparative deep-sequencing analysis of cDNA libraries prepared from the small RNA population (10–29 nt) of HeLa cells infected with Salmonella (20 hpi) and mock-treated cells. Considering that at a MOI of 25 Salmonella is internalized in only 10-15% of the HeLa cells, we separated the fraction of cells which had internalized Salmonella (Salmonella+) from the bystander fraction (Salmonella-) by fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS), and extended the analysis of miRNA changes to these samples. Interestingly, we observed that Salmonella infection induces a significant decrease in the expression of all the detected members of the miR-15 family
Project description:Wild type or HIPK2-/- immortalized bone marrow-derived macrophages (iBMDM) were infected with VSV for 6h, followed by whole genome RNA-seq analysis. Conclusions: HIPK2 deficiency aggravates viral infection and inhibited the production of IFNβ.
Project description:High-density gene expression profile of 14,151+ unique genes for 6 normal porcine neutrophild and 6 porcine neutrophils samples infected by Salmonella using deep sequencing technology.
Project description:To investigate the gene expression profile of macrophages in response to Salmonella infection in vitro, we differentiated mouse BMDMs and the cells were used as a model for Salmonella infection We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of BMDMs at two conditions (uninfected and Salmonella-infected cells).
