Project description:Purpose: In this study, Escherichia coli DH5alpha whole transcriptome sequencing was performed in order to compare the different gene expression profiles between control and exposed to Wi-Fi radiofrequency radiations. Methods:Escherichia coli DH5alpha were exposed to Wi-Fi radiations. Total RNA samples( control and exposed ) were extracted by bacteria protect-Rneasy kit, treated with DNAase and subjected to sequnecing using an Illumina-NovaSeq 6000 platform. Library preparation and sequencing were performed by Macrogen (south korea).Trimmed reads are mapped to reference genome with Bowtie. HTseq was used for expression profiling. Expression profile was calculated for each sample and gene as read count.
Project description:The purpose of this study is to determine whether the presence of pathogenic Escherichia coli in colon is associated with psychiatric disorders.
Project description:Despite the characterization of many aetiologic genetic changes. The specific causative factors in the development of sporadic colorectal cancer remain unclear. This study was performed to detect the possible role of Enteropathogenic Escherichia coli (EPEC) in developing colorectal carcinoma.
Project description:The goal of this study is to compare gene expression data for a well known model organism (Escherichia coli) using different technologies (NGS here, microarray from GSE48776).
Project description:Long-term experiment (150 days) of Escherichia coli MC1000 with daily transfers into fresh LB medium and under three different oxygen regimes.
Project description:One ONT-ULK sequencing run from the kidney of a single male CDMR (Bathyergus suillus) sample used to make the mBatSui1.1.primary genome assembly as an evolutionary comparator to our telomere-to-telomere naked mole-rat genome assembly. Specifically, we assembled a CDMR from a wild-derived sample in South African cape and sequenced in Toronto, Canada, using PacBio HiFi (89 Gb, read N50 = 18 Kb) and ONT-ULK (55 Gb, read N50 = 43 Kb) reads (contig N50 = 33 Mb, Compleasm S = 99%, QV = 71.0). This accession stores the ONT-ULK data for this assembly.
Project description:This study examines the transcriptomic response of Escherichia coli strains ECOR53 & LRPF007 to formaldehyde (FA) stress using RNA sequencing. Strains were grown in rich medium (GT) and exposed to defined concentrations of FA. RNA was collected at two key time points: initial stress (early exposure phase) and recovery (after adaptation to FA). The dataset includes raw FASTQ files, read count matrices, normalized CPM values, and differential expression results. These data reveal strain-specific transcriptional programs and potential detoxification mechanisms, offering insight into how E. coli adapts to formaldehyde toxicity at the molecular level.
