Project description:Recently, we found that human TNF transgenic (TNF-Tg) mice died by 6-month from cardiopulmonary disease. Histological analysis showed that TNF-Tg mice were characterized by the pulmonary vascular and right ventricular pathology. This pathology closely mimics human connective tissue disease (CTD) associated pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). In this study, we aimed to investigate the gene expression in TNF-Tg lung using bulkRNA-seq technology.
Project description:Cardiac-specific TNF-alpha transgenic mice are an excellent model to study the pathologenesis of heart failure. Affymetrix U74V2A was used to analyze the gene expression profile of male and female wildtype FVB and TNF-alpha transgenic mice at the time point of compensated hypertrophy and dilated heart failure. 3 week, 13 week and 40 week samples examined. Project description:T cells specifically recognize an antigen with a T cell receptor (TCR) consisting of α- and β-chain. The transgenic 1D1a mice were generated on the genetic background of the B10.D2(R101) line and expressed in their T cells the α-chain TCR (TCRα) specific to the allogeneic MHC molecule Н2-Kb. To evaluate effects of TCRα transgenesis on the qualitative and quantitative composition of plasma proteins, comparative proteome analysis was performed for both female and male transgenic 1D1a and wild-type B10.D2(R101) mice aged 3-, 6-, and 12-months.
