Project description:The amino acid cysteine was repeatedly shown to be implicated in the plants stress response. This project aims to elucidate which effect cysteine has on the proteome of Arabidopsis. Treatment of Arabidopsis thaliana seedling cultures with cysteine resulted in distinct proteomic changes. To further investigate on the role of cysteine metabolism and associated proteins during biotic stress, the proteomic response of Arabidopsis thaliana leaves inoculated with the plant pathogen Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato DC3000 was monitored.
Project description:We produced RNA-seq reads from messenger RNA isolated from aerial seedling tissue for Arabidopsis thaliana mutants in the HULK gene family. The read data were generated with biological replication (two replicates). The resulting RNA-seq data provide a resource to assess the function of HULK genes in the control of downstream gene expression in A. thaliana. Examination of RNA transcript levels in HULK T-DNA mutants (and mutant combinations therein) in Arabidopsis thaliana.
Project description:The expression levels of Arabidopsis thaliana (Col-0) genes in several developmental stages during the seed-to-seedling transition were measured by using high-density Affymetrix® arrays (Aragene.st1.1). We used a time-series of microarrays to gain temporal resolution and identify relevant genes in the seed-to-seedling transition.
