Project description:The basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor Twist plays roles in mesodermal development and tissue morphogenesis. To assess transcriptional changes associated with loss of Twist function, we performed bulk RNA-seq on head tissue, including tentacles, from wild-type and twist mutant Nematostella vectensis animals exhibiting neoplasm-like development.
