Project description:Hirudo nipponia is an important traditional Chinese medicine resource in China, and the secretions of its salivary glands contain a variety of protein bioactive substances, but due to the low concentration and abundance, they have not been more characterized, and the exploration of its salivary glands is of great significance for the study of the medicinal value and secretion mechanism of leeches. Methods: The expression of differential proteins in salivary gland tissues under starvation (D30) and feeding (D0) states was compared by label-free protein quantification and bioinformatics analysis.
Project description:Spatial regulation analysis across multiple condition comparisons revealed distinct patterns of gene expression. We combined these transcriptome data with spatial CNS data to produce the spatio-transcripto map of the ganglia chain. The Hirudo Medicinalis set of transcripts generated here provides a resource for gene discovery and gene regulation within the nervous system. In addition, the strategy for de novo assembly of transcriptome data presented here may be helpful in other similar transcriptome studies. Examination of 3 different ganglia in 3 different leeches.
Project description:modENCODE_submission_3253 This submission comes from a modENCODE project of David MacAlpine. For full list of modENCODE projects, see http://www.genome.gov/26524648 Project Goal: We will precisely identify sequence elements that direct DNA replication by using chromatin immunoprecipitation of known replication initiation complexes. These experiments will be conducted in multiple cell types and developmental tissues. For data usage terms and conditions, please refer to http://www.genome.gov/27528022 and http://www.genome.gov/Pages/Research/ENCODE/ENCODEDataReleasePolicyFinal2008.pdf EXPERIMENT TYPE: CHIP-seq.
